Lawrite work with our associated law firm Lawrite Solicitors to provide fixed-cost legal support for employers in the UK.

We were one of the first businesses to sell employment law services online, with more than 50,000 copies of the Employment Law Software delivered to subscribers.

We are providers of employment law training, and HR management consultancy.

Calls to our legal advice line are handled by a team of practising solicitors, not a call centre, and our aim is that our customers will get pragmatic advice and solutions to their problems, not just information.

Lawrite was originally founded by solicitor Martin Phillips in 1997. He has had many years of experience advising both employers and employees about employment law disputes.

After representing many clients in Employment Tribunal cases, he could see that many employers lost because of their failure to use the right procedures and the absence of claims avoidance strategies.

He saw the need for an affordable service to assist employers to put into place the documents, policies and procedures required for legal compliance and to avoid costly Tribunal claims.
